Terms of Use/Disclaimer

(1) This website is subject to the following terms of use, which are binding between the user and the service provider when the website is accessed. If specific conditions for individual uses of this website deviate from the following terms of use, this will be explicitly stated on the website. In such cases, the specific terms of use shall apply additionally in each individual case.

This website contains data and information of all kinds, which are protected by trademark and/or copyright in favor of the service provider or, in individual cases, third parties. It is therefore not permitted to download, reproduce, and/or distribute the entire website or parts thereof. Permitted is, in particular, the technical reproduction for the purpose of browsing, as far as this action does not serve economic purposes, and the permanent reproduction for personal use.

(2) It is permitted to place a link to this website, as long as it serves only as a reference. The service provider reserves the right to revoke this permission. Framing this website is not permitted.

(3) The service provider is liable for the content of its website in accordance with legal regulations. However, no guarantee is given for the accuracy and completeness of the information on the website. References and links to third-party websites do not mean that the service provider endorses the content behind the reference or link. The contents do not establish any responsibility on the part of the service provider for the data and information provided there. The service provider has no influence on the content behind the link. Therefore, the service provider is not liable for illegal, incorrect, or incomplete content and for damages arising from the use of the content behind the link.

(4) The use of the internet is at the user’s own risk. The service provider is particularly not liable for the technical failure of the internet or internet access.

(5) The place of jurisdiction, if the contracting party is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, is the location of the service provider. German law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

(6) The service provider reserves the right to modify these terms of use from time to time and adapt them to technical and legal developments. The user – if registered – will be informed separately of the changes. If individual provisions of this terms of use agreement are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

Privacy Policy

Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as “Data”) is only processed by us to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its contents and the services offered there.

According to Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), “processing” means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, to the extent that we decide either alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing. In addition, we inform you below about the third-party components we use for optimization purposes and to improve the quality of use, where such third parties process data under their own responsibility.

Our privacy policy is structured as follows:

I. Information about us as the responsible party
II. Rights of users and data subjects
III. Information on data processing

I. Information about us as the responsible party

The responsible provider of this website, in terms of data protection law, is:

You can find more information about our company in our imprint.

We do not have a data protection officer!
If this changes, we will inform you here.

The following notes provide a comprehensive overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified. We try to make this as simple and understandable as possible. Unfortunately, the obligations to provide information are extensive, so we have initially prepared a brief summary for you here.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right:

  • To obtain confirmation as to whether data concerning them is being processed, information about the processed data, further information about the data processing, and copies of the data (cf. also Art. 15 GDPR);
  • To request the rectification or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (cf. also Art. 16 GDPR);
  • To request the immediate deletion of the data concerning them (cf. also Art. 17 GDPR) or, alternatively, to request the restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR, insofar as further processing is required under Art. 17(3) GDPR;
  • To receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to have it transmitted to other providers/controllers (cf. also Art. 20 GDPR);
  • To lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe that their data has been processed unlawfully (cf. also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed by the provider of any rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing that takes place based on Articles 16, 17(1), and 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, users have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Users and data subjects also have the right to object to the future processing of data concerning them, in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, if the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for direct advertising purposes is permissible.

III. Information on data processing

Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, and the deletion of the data does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations, unless otherwise specified in the individual processing methods outlined below.

Server Data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or our webspace provider. These server log files include, among other things, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the website(s) of our website that you visit, the date and time of your access, as well as the IP address of the internet connection from which the use of our website takes place.

These collected data will be temporarily stored, but not combined with other data from you.

The storage is based on the legal foundation of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

The data will be deleted at the latest after seven days, provided that no further retention for evidence purposes is required. Otherwise, the data will be wholly or partially excluded from deletion until the matter is conclusively clarified.

Cookies

Session Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your device by your internet browser. These cookies process specific information about you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address.

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, as it allows, for example, the reproduction of our website in different languages or the use of a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided that these cookies are used to initiate or process contracts.

If the processing does not serve to initiate or fulfill a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

When you close your internet browser, these session cookies are deleted.

Third-party Cookies

If necessary, cookies from partner companies that we cooperate with for advertising, analysis, or the functionalities of our website may also be used.

The specific details, in particular about the purposes and legal basis of the processing of such third-party cookies, can be found in the following information.

Disabling Cookies

You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies via the settings of your internet browser. You can also delete previously stored cookies at any time. The steps and measures required for this, however, depend on the specific internet browser you are using. If you have any questions, please consult the help function or documentation of your browser or contact its manufacturer or support. In the case of so-called Flash cookies, the processing cannot be prevented through the browser settings. Instead, you need to change the settings of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this depend on your specific Flash player. If you have any questions, please also consult the help function or documentation of your Flash player or contact the manufacturer or support.

If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may result in some functions of our website being unavailable or limited.
